What Makes Cobblestone Special?
Unique Curriculum
Our curriculum is the heart of the difference between Cobblestone and other schools. Themes for study integrate reading, writing, math, social studies, scientific inquiry, foreign language and artistic expression that evolve out of children's questions, interests and experiences. This student-responsive, interdisciplinary approach to learning through inquiry, encourages critical thinking and fosters motivation, anchoring learning in a meaningful context.
Individual Attention
Small class sizes (12:1 student to teacher ratio in lower grades and 15:1 in Middle grades) permit teachers to attend to individual learning styles. Flexible, mixed-aged groupings ease children's transitions while imaginative, interdisciplinary curricula challenge them to learn.
Parental Interaction
Cobblestone parents are active partners in their child’s education and they are an integral part of the Cobblestone community.
