At nine years old, my father snuck me into the Amherst College gym to practice game winning jumpers. At fifteen, I was working-out with my uncle, an All-Ivy tailback. The idea that I could improve my performance with homework started partly with Charles Atlas, yet continues today as a personal quest.I’d like to think I bring the right balance of Col. Potter and Col. Kurtz to the classes at Cobblestone. My goal is to develop quality movement patterns, enhance conditioning, offer stimulating competition, and learn how to both win and lose.
On the side, I’m a personal trainer and artist inspired by my wife Kathryn, our two horses, three cats, and toy poodle, Lucy.
