Our Admissions Process

Applications are considered on a rolling basis, in the order they are received.

1. Return the completed application packet directly to Cobblestone School and submit Request for Student Records and Classroom Teacher Feedback Form to your child’s current school or daycare provider.
   
   
2. Cobblestone School will notify families when all parts of the application have been received.
   
   
3. Children are then scheduled to spend a half day visiting their prospective classroom. This visit allows our teachers to get to know your child and to see if he/she is comfortable and well-suited for our program.
   
   
4. Once the application process is complete and reviewed by our staff, parents will be notified of our decision.

   Please note:
   

   • Families of students with an IESP/IEP must complete the entire process for admissions and enrollment, and have a signed Private-Parochial Parent Consent Form on file with the Rochester City School District, by June 1 for fall enrollment. Note: the Private-Parochial Parent Consent Form must be filed with the City regardless of the student’s School District of Residence.
   • Families interested in Financial Aid should apply by April 30 for fall enrollment. Please see the Financial Aid page of our website for more information.
